Job Title:

Part-Time Mobile App Developer (Three months, with the option for an extension.)

Company Overview:

Ahaz Electronics and Software Solutions is a forward-thinking company specializing in software and web development. We aim to deliver innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in POS thermal printer connections to join our team on a part-time basis for a 3-month contract.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance mobile applications to connect with POS thermal printers.
  • Implement seamless functionality for printing receipts and other outputs using mobile apps.
  • Utilize Ionic, Android Studio, and Java for app development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues between mobile phones and POS thermal printers.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver project milestones on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mobile app development for Android.
  • Proficiency in Ionic Framework, Android Studio, and Java.
  • Strong knowledge of connecting POS thermal printers with mobile phones via wifi or other methods.
  • Familiarity with printer command languages such as ESC/POS is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Period: Three months, with the option for an extension.
  • Type: Part-time
  • Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Sales and Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Specialist skilled in client engagement, strategic selling, and market analysis. If you're enthusiastic about marketing and sales of electronic and software products, we would love to have you on board.

About Us:

Ahaz Electronics and Software Solutions was founded in Mekelle, Tigray, by a group of passionate individuals aiming to introduce cutting-edge technology in software development and access control and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and promote company programs and products to potential clients.
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products and services.
  • Give sales presentations to a range of potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts with newly acquired clients.
  • Help determine pricing for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts.
  • Maintain client records and information.
  • Answer questions about products, pricing, and availability.
  • Participate actively in team discussions, brainstorming, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Train sales team members, sharing best practices in sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Ensure team sales quotas are met within set timeframes, exhibiting superior time management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative approach to sales and marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyze target markets and conduct competitive research.
  • Persistent and flexible approach to challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Sales and/or Marketing or related fields.
  • Ability to adapt to change and embrace innovative solutions.
